About the Opportunity

The Product Specialist is a key intermediary between Technology and its customers across Minderoo Foundation. The role is responsible for capturing business needs, translating them into solutions and delivering those solutions within quality, schedule and budget constraints.

The Product Specialist will work with the Core systems Product Owner, fellow Product Specialist, Delivery team and colleagues to meet customer needs and deliver results. The role will work on multiple work streams and projects simultaneously and deliver innovative, yet pragmatic solutions with positive impact. The role is responsible for servicing the Foundation.

Day to day you will partner with Finance and Operations stakeholders to define requirements, shape a prioritised backlog, and deliver fit-for-purpose enhancements to Minderoo’s ERP platform. You will also coordinate end-to-end delivery (including integrations, data quality and reporting impacts), support testing and release readiness, and ensure solutions align with security, compliance and platform governance.

About You

The successful candidate will be experienced in understanding applications architecture for fast-paced organisations and be able to contribute to developing architectures for 'right-size' solutions whilst ensuring stability, scalability and supportability.

You will also have:

  • Proven experience as a Product Specialist, Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Relevant experience in planning development activity, requirements prioritisation and UAT coordination/execution.
  • Solid understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) principles and experience in all phases of the SDLC.
  • Ability to identify and validate problems, and solution pathways
  • Knowledge of and experience with Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including SCRUM, Agile and Waterfall
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and/or supporting business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Understanding of A2A and B2B integration concepts, considerations and patterns.
  • Proven experience in managing vendors, negotiating, and building partnerships.
  • Project management and business analyst skills and experience.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT staff.
  • Knowledge of/and confident user of Al tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Self-led learning to expand knowledge in support of Minderoo objectives
